Kadang-kadang dialog ini juga boleh didengari "Sabahan men are hunks! pindik-pindik tagap kan? hihi" Malangnya saya pendek tapi tidak tagap.

Pada tanggal 21 Oktober 2012, berjaya sudah saya menerima skrol resmi ijazah sarjana muda Sistem Maklumat Perniagaan (BIS). Usai 4 tahun setengah pengajian termasuk asasi, kami semua akhirnya dianugerahkan sekeping sijil berbahasa melayu dan juga inggeris yg mengatakan tamatlah sudah pengajian di Universiti Teknologi Petronas (UTP), Tronoh. Dalam diam sememangnya saya berbangga bila mengatakan UTP merupakan alma mater saya. Sejak memulakan pengajian hingga kini, PETRONAS tetap berkait dalam kehidupan kerna kini saya sudah mulai berkhidmat untuk syarikat multi nasional gergasi ini. Alhamdulillah.

Nota: Konvokesyen berlangsung selepas 9 bulan graduasi dari pengajian dan 4 bulan selepas lapor diri di tempat kerja.

Belum pernah disiarkan di mana-mana media. Sebagai kenangan in case ter format computer tanpa back up. Program ini berlangsung pada 24-29 Dis 2009. Dikenali sebagai Kembara Amal 5, anjuran bersama Angkatan Belia Islam Malaysia (ABIM) dan beberapa badan NGO dan kerajaan yang lain. Kembara dilakukan di 3 kampung di dalam kawasan pedalaman daerah ranau. Kg Sumbilingan, Kg Togup Darat, Kg Morungin. Jalan memang gravel dan coverage tidak ada langsung. Even Celcom.

Tidak pasti kampung yg mana satu. Tapi kampung ini dilengkapi teknologi solar untuk menjana elektrik. Lebih murah berbanding buat tiang eletrik untuk capaikan kabel elektrik ke dalam kampung.

It's been a while since the last time I write anything in this Travelogue. With the opening of Farid Sports House, I stopped on planning trips to any foreign countries. One of business start up phases I have to face is to restrain myself from spending on holiday trips or anything that is not within my necessities list. Sigh. Well at least I learnt something from this experience right? Have you invest your savings into businesses like I did? Even Harvard Business School didn't have a course that requires its students to invest money and start some businesses. Uhm, maybe they do? But not my Business Information System course for sure.

Many surely have dream to fly in business class/first class where the seats are thicker, wider and more importantly you will travel in comfort especially on a long haul journey. Unfortunately the price of those tickets are known to be expensive.

 Luckily we have optiontown (www.optiontown.com).. it is a website where customers may upgrade their economy class ticket for a fee which is extremely cheaper than the original price.. basically how optiontown works is this way -

1. Enter your booking details 
2. They check the availability 
3. Pay RM 10 admin fee and the upgrade fee.. 
4. At least 2 days before your departure day, they will email you whethere your upgrade status.. 
5.  If they fail to upgrade, the upgrade fee will be returned but the RM 10 admin fee is burn.. 

 Optiontown have gained a very high reputation among travelers seeking cheaper but luxurious travelling option.. The only drawback is that they have limited partner airline but as for Malaysia, there have Air Asia X & Malaysia Airlines.. So don't forget to give optiontown a try the next time you are planning a getaway..

Of Penyaram and Ikan Masin Bersalut Tepung

Ramadhan terakhir di UTP barangkali?

 Pinjaram atau Penyaram di Bazaar Ramadhan Batu Gajah. Siapa kata Sabah saja ada Penyaram? @benazirjb. Hehe

 Pisang goreng, pulut panggang, masalodeh, kuih bakar, kurma dan pisang + teh susu + Bubur Ubi Manis. Pemecah puasa sebelum menjamah nasi lauk ala kampung di Surau Taman Maju.

 Para bujangs yang bertandang ke surau. Bertahlil sementara tunggu azan Maghrib.

 Saya dan Zulmilo. Beliau tak lama lagi bekerja bersama Zul Besar. Credit untuk Mas Qayyum.

 Usai Maghrib Berjemaah, beratur untuk menjamah nasi pula.

Lauk ala kampung. Berbuka di Surau Taman Maju. Nampak lauk yang bersalut tepung tu? itu bukan pisang goreng, tetapi ikan masin! First time rasa ikan masin salut tepung. Sodap jugak.

Singa Pura Pura

After a long hiatus, I finally write some proper entry in this dusty Travelogue. Reason for not updating? none. Its a pure laziness. Reason for updating the blog all of a sudden? Because Nuffnang is paying me for several campaigns. Rugi tak update dan naikkan traffic time dapat campaign ni. Hehe. So, what buzzin'? Uh.. Just wanted to share with my fellow readers a few blogs I recently following. Travelogues of course. :D

Okay, berbalik kepada tajuk entri, Singapore. My brother just got married with the dewi merah jambu: Aida Thepinkgoddess last month and they went to USS for their honeymoon. Memandangkan review about USS yang ditulis oleh my sister in law is very positive, it encourages me to at least  menjejakkan kaki ke sana once in my lifetime. Di tambah lagi dengan feedback dari kakak kepada seorang rakan yang baru sahaja pergi kesana yang sangat-sangat menggalakkan, terpanggillah hati ini untuk ke sana. Lagi pun, memang saya tidak pernah sampai ke kota singa sebelum ini. Walau bagaimanapun, belum ada proper planning lagi untuk pegi. Nanti bila dah decide, saya tulis disini. :)

I asked one of the sales kids if A Bathing Ape saw any customer backlash from being bought by I.T. He laughed and said no, in fact it’s the opposite. Bape is bigger than ever here in Hong Kong. Later, our local friends told us that’s true to an extent – Bape IS growing in popularity here but it’s not with the HK crowd, it’s the rich mainland Chinese who come here to buy up all the cool fashion to take back home. We heard stories of how they come to Hong Kong with literal bags of cash (because credit cards have a limit).

They’ll walk up and down the luxury brand row, throw their bags on the counters, and snag the best of Chanel, Gucci, and Cartier with little care or consideration of price-tags. Another story of a guy walking into a Toyota dealership and buying 20 cars set at $70,000 USD each, all with cash. And it’s not just clothes and cars, it’s housing and property. There’s an actual term for it, the practice of mainland Chinese visiting Hong Kong realty, asking for the best residence on the market, and blindly purchasing with cash without visiting the pad first.

The world is turning in this direction, not just economically, but culturally, as a by-product of the gold rush. Just look how much the U.S. news talked about Chinese artist Ai Wei-Wei this week, whom I previously only ever really heard about when I was in Hong Kong. It’s history in the making every day here.

Calling yourself a budget traveler is very exciting. Being a traveler you have to accept a little bit of adventure compared to a normal tourist. So let say you are going to explore the island of Ibiza in the Mediterranean.. Basically you will need to fly to London Heathrow (LHR) or Stansted Airport both in London then take another cheap airline letsay EasyJet to Ibiza (IBZ), Spain. So lets throw in some scenario to this event. You arrived in either of the airport at 11pm local time and your flight is 8am the next morning. So to rest after a long flight from Kuala Lumpur, you might want to find some place to crash.

So I'm suggesting you to Sleep in the airport!! Yes.. in the airport..Top of the airport sleeping list is Changi, Singapore with many good amenities which includes snooze chair and napping area. So let see what you need to know..but, no im not typing what is not written by me..so please do click here for those tips.. 21 useful tips before you sleep in the airport.

You can also check out specific airport tips, on how to handle the security, you might even get a free sandwich or some kueh like in Samui (USM) airport..You might also want to check out worst airport that you might never give a second thought to spend a night at.. like high rate of criminals, dirty toilets, annoying security officers. Well, it is better to be prepared right?

Long Hiatus

Recently this so called Travelog Saya is only publishing 'rants' entries. Where have all the travelog entries gone? Kononnya mahu ke Cambodia, Korea Selatan, Singapura dan Turki tapi masih lagi saya kekal di Malaysia. Passport antarabangsa saya masih lagi belum di cop oleh pihak imegresen negara lain selain Malaysia, China dan Indonesia.

Terlalu banyak rancangan tapi belum boleh dilaksanakan sebabnya, saya merancang apa yang ada ditangan. Bukan yang diangan-angankan. Bagi penggemar kumpulan nasyid Nowseeheart mesti kata..
