Many surely have dream to fly in business class/first class where the seats are thicker, wider and more importantly you will travel in comfort especially on a long haul journey. Unfortunately the price of those tickets are known to be expensive.

Luckily we have optiontown (www.optiontown.com).. it is a website where customers may upgrade their economy class ticket for a fee which is extremely cheaper than the original price.. basically how optiontown works is this way -

  1. Enter your booking details
  2. They check the availability
  3. Pay RM 10 admin fee and the upgrade fee..
  4. At least 2 days before your departure day, they will email you whethere your upgrade status..
  5.  If they fail to upgrade, the upgrade fee will be returned but the RM 10 admin fee is burn..

Optiontown have gained a very high reputation among travelers seeking cheaper but luxurious travelling option.. The only drawback is that they have limited partner airline but as for Malaysia, there have Air Asia X & Malaysia Airlines.. So don't forget to give optiontown a try the next time you are planning a getaway..

Calling yourself a budget traveler is very exciting. Being a traveler you have to accept a little bit of adventure compared to a normal tourist. So let say you are going to explore the island of Ibiza in the Mediterranean.. Basically you will need to fly to London Heathrow (LHR) or Stansted Airport both in London then take another cheap airline letsay EasyJet to Ibiza (IBZ), Spain. So lets throw in some scenario to this event. You arrived in either of the airport at 11pm local time and your flight is 8am the next morning. So to rest after a long flight from Kuala Lumpur, you might want to find some place to crash.

So I'm suggesting you to Sleep in the airport!! Yes.. in the airport..Top of the airport sleeping list is Changi, Singapore with many good amenities which includes snooze chair and napping area. So let see what you need to know..but, no im not typing what is not written by me..so please do click here for those tips.. 21 useful tips before you sleep in the airport.

You can also check out specific airport tips, on how to handle the security, you might even get a free sandwich or some kueh like in Samui (USM) airport..You might also want to check out worst airport that you might never give a second thought to spend a night at.. like high rate of criminals, dirty toilets, annoying security officers. Well, it is better to be prepared right?

Lets make sleeping in airport as part of your traveling adventure next time!

Every travelers dream is to travel a city like a local.. Travelers like me would certainly would like to explore more than just tourist attractions. You might want to try the best pushka in Kolkata which is sold at one place under the Howrah Bridge , or to find the local Cock Fight in some isolated village in Jakarta, or you might want to get some best Nasi Kandar under a flat in Air Itam, Penang..

With the introduction of low cost carrier, many have stereo typed that AirAsia is the cheapest option to fly. Many are not aware of deals done by full-fledged carrier such as Malaysia Airline which sometimes are much cheaper than AirAsia. Travellers should also bear in mind that when you are travelling on low cost carrier, you are only allowed to carry a hand carry luggage worth 5kg. any extra you need to pay yourself. And remember, no food free food will be served on board and there would be pay-per-use Inflight Entertainment. So if you called yourself a budget traveler, that doesn’t mean that, you should only travel by AirAsia.

Here I will be sharing some full-fledged carrier which transits in KUL before its final destination. So you could take advantage of this advantage, by getting low price and flying wide body aircraft to any of your final destination

LufthansaBangkok(BKK)4www.lufthansa.com
Royal JordanianBangkok(BKK)3www.rj.com
Qatar AirwaysPhuket(HKT)7www.qatarairways.com

For those in Johor, you shouldn’t miss the opportunity to fly from Changi, Singapore instead of travelling all the way to KUL as this could save your time and money.

Get The Cheapest Flight With Plantripnow

Another great tips from Mr/s X. You should read his/her first writing. Click here. He/she still did not want to reveal his/her identity but continuously giving me articles on travelling. I bet you haven't heard about plantripnow right? Let Mr/s X show you how it works.

Hi!! Im back for more travel tips.

This is one great website for local travellers finding the cheapest air fare to their preferred destination. The website is www.plantripnow.com.

After selecting you preferred destination to and from you are travelling together with you planned date, the site will populate all airlines serving the route with the cheapest option for you to choose. This certainly helps and save a lot of bucks, and I personally have been using this site to view cheapest option I have to fly. Don’t worry of any fraud as all transaction would be done at the respective airline website or if you still don’t trust them, just take the data you have got, go to the airline website and buy it as usual.

So here are pictorial guide on how to use the site.
For tutorial purpose I have selected to fly from KUL to BKI (Kota Kinabalu) on 1st april 2011 and returning on 3rd April 2011
