Gotta finish the quest report. Kalau tangguh lagi, memang gantung la report ni sampai Day 4 je.
Cont: Day 5 : 12 December 2010
We started the day with breakfast (i guess?) and then Beijing Panda Zoo. Visit ke zoo takde dalam itinerary. Per requested by us. Boleh tengok panda guling-guling. Wee~
Kucing ni pun dah jadi tarikan kat zoo tu. He has his own corner to lepak, makan, minum and pampered by visitors.
Haha. This cute boy is having telepathy conversation with Mr. Kong.
That's a real life panda!
Seventh-Arch Bridge
You wont survive that long here if you did not wear winter jacket
This is rad! the lake was frozen. boleh berdiri atas tu woo. Tapi masih belum boleh ice skating atas tu.
Ni mak cik jual kupang. hehe. JK.. Ni kat kedai mutiara. Super boring untuk para lelaki. oh ya. Ive been chased by anjing ketot dalam kedai ni. Nasib baik tak kena jeans. Leceh jugak nak samak kalau kena.
Kedai jual lapik meja, bantal yang renda-renda macam jual kat Kaison tu. Owner nya muslim. Fatimah kalau tak silap. that sales girl, a local, can understand Malay very well. Dah terlalu banyak Malays singgah kedai dia.

We went to Summer Palace where the emperor used to stay during summer after the Zoo trip. Ironically, it was winter during that time. It was freezing and the lake was frozen. It was toooo cold there. We took pictures only near to the entrance. I am not sure where exactly is the palace. Sangat luas tempat lepak raja nih. SANGAT LUASSSS.

I cant recall the visits after that. Haha. Yang pasti, memang kami ada lawat kedai mutiara, barang kemas, another pasar malam, kilang buat stainless steel stuff and LED screen. Lawat kedai mutiara tu boleh buang lah.. sebab lepas kedai mutiara, singgah pulak kedai barang kemas and the goods sold are lebih kurang.

If im not mistaken, we visit the jeweleries shop right after lunch as the shop is in the same building with the restaurant.
That Chinese guy on your right is a Malaysian actually. He is doing a favor for his uncle who sponsored his degree. Uncle dia mintak dia jadi manager kat kedai jewelleries kat Beijing. Cool kan? he gave us veli special plice sebab dia tau Malaysian tak kan beli punya lah benda-benda mengarut kat situ dengan harga cekik darah. Dia kata para datuk datin dan orang Jepun je yg main borong ja barang-barang kat situ walaupun harga mahal gila. Dia boleh cut 90% dari harga sebenar tu. Gila punya untung dorang buat. Pfft.
An additional info yang dikongsi oleh Mr Manager tu, conservative Japanese yang umur 60 and above are arrogant people. Diorang tak nak nampak miskin. So bila jual barang, and diorang hesitate, tanya ja "is the price is too expensive for you? I can show you some cheaper one". Diorang akan tercabar dan terus beli. Haha. I think maybe sebab Japanase dengan Chinese kan pernah perang dulu so, masih ada rasa tak nak kalah to the other party.
And, Malaysian Chinese mostly cant accept the pure Chinese from the mainland cuisine. Selera diorang lebih kurang the meleis. Sama-sama tak boleh terima masakan kat Beijing. Memang 1Malaysia lah!

Ha.. ni another lecture from a knife/stainless steel stuff. Apa ntah jenama dia . Dellmen kot. Kononnya share technology dengan german punya manufacturer. Yang laku diborong oleh para ibu ialah pengupas kulit buah/potato/karot. Multitask knife lah lebih kurang. Oh, and this is the only place we got a freebie! a knife untuk potong buah. Nice kan? Sampai sekarang masih tajam. Memang agak berkualiti lah.
Ni LED screen terbesar di asia atau China. Tak ingat dah. Saja lawat.. tempat ni lebih kurang Pavilion KL lah. Ada Zara, NBA shop etc expensive boutiques. Seingat saya, lepas lawat LED ni, kami dinner and balik hotel.. and end the trip untuk hari ke5.
I think thats all for the 5th day. Got another 2 more days to update -.- and I already ran out of tips to share with you. Im such a teruk blogger..
