Travelog Saya: Ipoh - Cameron Highland

Note: Entri ini telah dipost di Tumblr saya pada 17 Mei 2010. Saja himpunkan koleksi "travel" di travelog ni Sebagai selingan entri Quest to The Great Wall of China. Dan label Hujan Emas di Malaysia digunakan untuk travel dalam negara. Bak kata pepatah;

Hujan batu di negeri orang, Hujan emas di negeri sendiri.

On 14th of May, a friend of mine; Hadi came up with the idea to make stop motion video. Well, we haven't tried that technique so I say why not. Plus, the plan is to shoot the clips at 3.00am at Kellie's Castle. It was an abandoned bungalow and ironically haunted. That is the best part actually. Hehe.

Honestly, I am expecting some paranormal activities to be happened during the shooting. Unfortunately nothing happened except the sound of more like an old bell ringing out-of-no-where a few times.

Fail!

And the result? Epic FAIL! haha. The techniques are all wrong and the lighting is killing us. It supposed to be smoother which need hundreds of snaps But never mind, there always a next time. The funny part is how we spent 3 hours at the castle's yard and miserably fail to create a stop motion piece. Haha.

So the sleepy heads hungry tummies stop motion team went to McDonald's for breakfast. It was my first time having a McD breakfast and it was amazing! I like the taste of sausage McMuffin served with the strong aroma arabic coffee beans. Even though the taste was good, Azmir (Kecik) and me agree having Subway sandwich + coffee is more refreshing than McD breakfast.

On the way back to the campus, Qayyum texted me (he is in the other car)"Cameron jom ada bran?" Lets go to Cameron do you got balls? . haha. The translation is a little bit funny. I told our car owner, my room mate: Aizat about the sudden plan. Fathi was excited because we rarely got the chance to go somewhere far than a 1 hour ride. Long story short, only one out of the 3 cars is going to Cameron and I am in it. Yeay!

We cramped 6 people in Azmir's Myvi for a 2 and a half hour journey to Cameron Highlands, Pahang. Thanks to Hakim the tourist guide, we reached there safely. It was my first time actually. I have never been to Cameron Highlands before. That is why I can't resist the chance to go there especially with my friends. Thanks for the spontaneous suggestion Qayyum! (Dia suggest sebab dia pun belum pernah sampai Cameron. haha)

The first destination was the market. Yup, there are a lot of strawberries but we did not buy even a strawberry. I wonder why. Maybe none of us interested with straw-berry.

Our main objective is to take a picture of us in the tea plantation just like what people usually do when they are at Cameron Highlands. So we drive up to the 'BOH' tea center.

It was a heaven like green scenery up there. Actually only cars with 'stickers' could go to the center but thanks to our youth-ness, we did not bother. Seriously kalau kami parking kat bawah and tengok-tengok ladang teh kat bawah tu, memang tak berbaloi. Kat atas lagi best. Yang kat center nih. Ada ladang, tempat minum teh and kilang proses teh. Kalau korang nak naik pegi BOH Tea Center, abaikan signboard tu. Naik je. Bukan ada pakgad pun.

We are in the middle of tea field so why not a tea session? For Hadi and me, its Qayyum's treat and the best tea goes to Pallas tea. Haha. We are not a tea enthusiast that we prefer Ameeth white coffee compare to BOH freshly picked tea leaves tea. Haha.

Time ni belum mandi. Semua bajet segar je datang tempat segar. Haha. Padahal ketiak dah bau sampah
